Hotkeys werden pro Button im Editor zugewiesen: Button auswählen → im Inspector das Feld Hotkey fokussieren → gewünschte Taste(n) drücken oder manuell eingeben (1–9, F1–F12, oder Kombinationen wie Strg+Shift+A). Eingebaute App-Kürzel: Esc-Doppeltipp beendet den Live-Modus, F12 löst einen Notstopp aus, F5 schaltet den maximalen Vollbildmodus, Strg+K öffnet die Befehlspalette, Shift+? zeigt das Hotkey-Cheat-Sheet. Hotkeys greifen, solange das CamCue-Fenster aktiv ist – ein systemweiter Hook ist bewusst nicht aktiv, damit Hotkeys anderer Programme nicht mit CamCue kollidieren.
Assign hotkeys per button in the editor: select button → focus the Hotkey field in the Inspector → press your desired key(s) or enter them manually (1–9, F1–F12, or combinations like Ctrl+Shift+A). Built-in app shortcuts: double-tap Esc exits Live mode, F12 triggers emergency stop, F5 toggles maximum fullscreen, Ctrl+K opens the command palette, Shift+? displays the hotkey cheat sheet. Hotkeys work only while the CamCue window is active. A system-wide hook is intentionally disabled so shortcuts from other applications do not collide with CamCue.

CamCue spricht das Elgato Stream Deck direkt über USB an – es ist kein zusätzliches Plugin und keine Companion-Software nötig. Stecken Sie Ihr Stream Deck ein, aktivieren Sie in den Einstellungen Stream-Deck-Eingabe und weisen Sie einem Button im Inspector eine Tastenposition zu, z. B. 0.0 für die obere linke Taste oder einfach den fortlaufenden Index 5. Im Live-Modus löst jeder Tastendruck den hinterlegten Preset, Home, Jog oder die Sequenz aus.
CamCue talks to the Elgato Stream Deck directly over USB. You do not need an extra plugin or companion software. Plug in your Stream Deck, enable Stream Deck input in Settings, and assign a key position to a button in the Inspector, for example 0.0 for the top-left key or simply the sequential index 5. In Live mode, each key press triggers the assigned preset, home, jog, or sequence.

Unter Einstellungen → MIDI wählen Sie Ihr angeschlossenes MIDI-Gerät aus und aktivieren MIDI-Eingabe. Im Inspector tragen Sie pro Button die gewünschte Note ein, z. B. C4, G#3 oder kanal-spezifisch Ch3:A4. Note-On-Events mit positiver Velocity lösen den Button aus. Unterstützt werden Hardware-Pad-Controller (z. B. Akai LPK25, Launchpad, X-Touch Mini) ebenso wie virtuelle MIDI-Schnittstellen. Einen geführten MIDI-Learn-Modus gibt es in der aktuellen Version nicht – die Eingabe ist bewusst textbasiert gehalten, damit Mappings sich exportieren und versionieren lassen.
In Settings → MIDI, select your connected MIDI device and enable MIDI input. In the Inspector, enter the desired note for each button, for example C4, G#3, or channel-specific like Ch3:A4. Note-On events with positive velocity trigger the button. Supported hardware includes pad controllers (e.g., Akai LPK25, Launchpad, X-Touch Mini) as well as virtual MIDI interfaces. The current version has no guided MIDI Learn mode. Input is intentionally text-based so that mappings can be exported and versioned.
