Getting started

Von der Installation zur ersten Live-Show: CamCue ist eine native Windows-Anwendung, die Einrichtung besteht aus drei Schritten.

From installation to your first live show: CamCue is a native Windows application, and setup takes three steps.

Nach dem Download starten Sie den Installer, akzeptieren die Lizenzbedingungen und klicken auf Installieren. Mehr ist auf der Maschine selbst nicht zu tun.

After downloading, run the installer, accept the licence terms and click Install. That is all you need to do on the machine itself.

Die drei Setup-Schritte

The three setup steps

  1. Anmelden oder kostenlos testen. Im Willkommens-Fenster wählen Sie Anmelden (für bestehende Konten) oder Kostenlos testen (für die 14-Tage-Testphase mit vollem Funktionsumfang). Für die Testphase brauchen Sie eine E-Mail-Adresse, ein Passwort und müssen die AGB akzeptieren.
  2. Sign in or start a free trial. In the welcome window, choose Sign in (for existing accounts) or Free trial (for the 14-day trial period with full functionality). The trial phase requires an email address, password, and acceptance of the terms of service.
  3. PC aktivieren. Wenn Sie bereits einen Produktschlüssel haben, geben Sie ihn im Aktivierungsfenster ein und bestätigen mit Aktivieren. CamCue bindet die Lizenz an Ihren PC und richtet alle benötigten Speicherorte ein. (Weitere Details unter PC-Aktivierung.)
  4. Activate your PC. If you already have a product key, enter it in the activation window and click Activate. CamCue binds the licence to your PC and sets up all necessary storage locations. (See PC activation for details.)
  5. Erste Show anlegen. In der Bibliothek erstellen Sie mit New Show ein neues Projekt oder importieren eine bestehende .camcue-Show. Sie fügen Ihre Kameras hinzu (siehe Protokoll-Setup), legen Preset-Buttons an und wechseln per Live-Schalter in den Show-Modus. Ab hier reagiert CamCue auf Tastatur, Stream Deck und MIDI.
  6. Create your first show. In the library, create a new project with New Show or import an existing .camcue show. Add your cameras (see Protocol setup), configure preset buttons, and switch to Show mode using the Live toggle. From here, CamCue responds to keyboard, Stream Deck, and MIDI.

Tipp für die erste Probe: Legen Sie ein Show-Layout mit Home und ein paar Test-Presets an, prüfen Sie die Verbindung zu jeder Kamera über Test Connection und gehen Sie danach kurz in den Live-Modus. Latenzen und Reachability sehen Sie dann direkt in der Status-Leiste.

Tip for your first test: Set up a show layout with Home and a few test presets, check the connection to each camera via Test Connection, then switch to Live mode briefly. The status bar shows latencies and reachability right away.
